So, rants, yeah, I do those.
Straight up, i'm really sorry the strips have been so erratic lately.
I'm really sorry. I won't promise anything, but I'll try my best not
to let you down again. Sorry.
Now, this weeks strip has been filled with Wacom tablet goodness. This
is just such a sweet peice of tech. This is probally the best thing
I've ever spent money on. But then I relaised that includes the
majority of my comic book collection, so i'm really confused. Even
more so than usual. Suffice to say, I'm INCREDIBLY happy with my
purchase and it will only make the comic better. Also, i don't mean
to toot my own horn here, but I think that first panel is easily on of
the best things i've drawn. I like it so much. i think for the first
time since i started this, I actually managed to nail down
expressions. And the best part for me (and ultimately for you guys)
that I can only improve...YAY!!!!!
Also, I finally got my hands on some Dane Cook goodness. WOW is this
one funny motherfucker. I'd go as far as to say that he is like a
white Richard Pyror. Well, I think so. My purchasing of his CD's and
my re-watching of "Here and Now" go pretty much hand in hand, but what
the fuck. I like him. He is just freaking hilarious and i urge you
to spend money on him. Even if you download the albums, just make a
commitment to handing over some cash for it. It'll be worth it. The
new one, Retallion, is a double album with an extra DVD of some
seriously silly shit. The Dennis Leary roast is worth it alone.
Dane Cook comes on stage and talks to crowd. He turns to Keifer
Sutherland and says "Hey Keifer, here's an idea for a show, You have
24 hours to ressurect your movie career" fucking hell. For a taster
of the comedy joy that is Mr. Cook, check out his Video
Page on Gorillamask.net
First off, check out him doing his Tom Cruise riff on Jimmy Kimmel
live. A few months on, it still tickles my ribs.
Thats enough for now see you guys later.
